Okay, so for a while now I've had a Love Hina wallscroll up in my room. I used one of those adhesive, non-damaging hooks to hang it with so that I wouldn't mar up the wall.
Today the barracks staff informed me that such hooks weren't allowed because, if used improperly, they could mar up the wall.
They said that, instead, I was supposed to use a thumback.
Which would, of course, mar up the wall.
