If only it -was- Norton...it's some company I've never heard of called "Trend Micro". For the past 2 years, apparently, it had worked on her comp just fine. Then she goes to install an update, things get wonky, she gets in touch with their tech support...and whatever they told her to do caused all this crap to happen.
