Monotony has been redefined...

Remember that home show I had to help my dad set up for yesterday? Well, today he needed someone to sit in for him while he was at college...so naturally he volunteered me to sit there and be bored out of my skull for 4 hours.

I think this is one of the rare times when someone can spend that length of time sitting at the controls of an ATV and not have any fun. (Of course, the backhoe attachment on the front was partially to blame..it was the reason I was THERE.)

...Well, okay, so there was ONE interesting moment. A couple of jack@#% kids I knew from high school showed up and, looking at my dad's gold display, starting making jokes (at least they SEEMED to be joking, but I didn't trust them any farther than I could've thrown them) about swiping some of it...to which I made a few "joking" replies about whether they'd like to find out how getting smacked upside the head by a backhoe shovel would feel (heck, they didn't know the thing wasn't on OR capable of turning on its own...).

Other than that the only really eventful occurance was seeing an old high school crush of mine....but in all honesty that's really none of your business. ;-b
