Sorry to get some of your hopes up, but as stellar an artist as he was, this isn't a Kurt Cobain tribute, although I would like to take a moment to give his family, short of his greedy bitch of a widow, my best wishes.
Anyway, when I mentioned the word "nirvana" I was referring to the term used to describe that moment where your spirit just hits a rare pinnacle of calmness and complete perfection. You know, that rare point in time where every problem you've ever had in the world just goes PUHF and vanishes quicker than America's fascination with Pogs.
Earlier tonight, after having a long-needed talk with milady, I decided to try and work off a little extra energy with a few rounds of Dance Dance Revolution. Hate the dancepad I've got as much as I may, it serves its purpose.
Then a couple of my buddies walk by and see what I'm doing, and they walk in...do they come to make fun of me? Not by a long shot. They invite me down to a little techno mini-rave going on on the first floor. Had everything but the ecstasy (thank the gods..)...glowsticks, kick ass tracks from the world of softcore techno, you name it.
For almost 2 hours I completely lost myself in an audio aphrodisiac...my body's still unbelievably relaxed and light after that. I swear, the last time I ever felt like this was the day I met milady.
...And as long as I'm on that subject, I've now officially hit the 1-week mark before I get to see her face to face for the first time....
...damn but this night just defies description...
