Well, I got moved into my new barracks room yesterday...not too shabby aside from needing to get my phone line moved to that room and getting cable setup. After I got all my stuff moved in, I took off to go see milady Nelly-chan at a symphony/choir concert. *sits back and smiles* 'Tis a truly theraputic thing, classical music...especially when sung by someone you love (and especially when they have a voice as beautiful as the rest of their being is.)
Before the concert, though, we had a few hours to hang out, so she and I went with about 10 of her friends out to the Buffalo Wing Factory, a rather awesome little restaraunt a block and a half from her school. There I got to meet a particular someone for the first time...my girlfriend's girlfriend. Yep, it's official...milady's bisexual. And now for a repeat performance of my exact reaction when I found that out..
"Really..." *shrugs* "..That's cool." *smirks*
I dunno...maybe it's just the premonition I have that she's not serious about going out with this girl, or it might just be the fact that a person's sexual orientation does jack shit to my opinion of them after about 2 seconds...I dunno.
But anyway, after dinner we still had about an hour and a half before the concert started, so we all went to see the varsity soccer team play. (Weird how I'm more interested in HER high school activities than I was in my OWN back when I was still going...) I have to admit, whoever had jersey 3 on was a rather nimble player...I don't just mean that from how quick he was on the field. The way he threw the back back in from out-of-bounds was rather amusing. He'd get a good running start, do a front flip, and then just launch the ball back into play. Gods I wish I was that flexible anymore. ^^;;
Anyway, after that we went to the concert...listened to the band perform first, which I must admit was none too shabby...then we all got shuffled to the gymnasium to watch a performance by the color guard.
*sighs* Those guys needed to practice some more, methinks. There were at least 5 occasions of a flag or a fake sword/rifle getting thrown into the air to whirl around a few times and get caught...only to whirl around a few times and fall to the ground.
After that, it was the choir's turn...my favorite part of the show. Kinda showed me how my parents were whenever I was back in my high school choir...the group was rather large, about 80 or so singers in total I guess...and yet I was able to spot milady right off the bat and single her voice out from the whole group. (and I say again, DAMN but her voice is beautiful.)
There was some stuff after that...I didn't pay much attention to it though, partially because they were doing songs I recall singing myself, but mainly because of who I was sitting with to watch. ^^ Then one of her friends gave her a ride home. (Rats!)
So yeah, while she and I once again failed to go at it, I have to be honest...I can't really say that bugs me. It's great enough just being with her, even when we're both bored out of our minds.
...Yeah, I know. I'm being a real suck-up of a boyfriend. Blow me. :b
