Okay, so I just finished up watching Bastard!, an anime series I bought a while back but never popped in. It's a story about 4 dark wizards who want to destroy the world, and the only man who can stop them is another dark wizard who happens to be a...well...bastard! :D

So I get through the series, right? 3 bad guys down, one to go........

AND IT ENDS!

It just STOPPED RIGHT THERE! No "to be continued", no "next time on Bastard!", it just ENDED!

And this isn't the first time it's happened, either! Spiral, Mouse, Magical Woman M...every single one of them I've enjoyed thoroughly with the exception of the fact that they STOP SHORT OF COMPLETION!

Why do they do this!? Why am I paying for 20 chapters of a novel and only getting 16? Why am I playing a 50-stage video game and getting "Game Over" after beating level 37?

WHAT'S WITH THIS CRAP!?!??!




...Anyway, I have to return a movie and get some dinner. Ciao!

Reminiscing...

It's funny. It's been over a year now...or has it been over 2? I don't know anymore. Ever since she tore my heart out that day I guess I just did my best to shut it out of my mind. Didn't help any. Tried moving on in my love life, only to find out that I was still a lousy boyfriend...a decent fuck from what Tracy told me, but a lousy boyfriend nonetheless. I guess it never helped any that, even after moving out here, I still lived so far away.

So now, here I am a scant few months away from leaving this area and probably never seeing either of them again...didn't think I'd find myself missing either of them so much. Definitely didn't think I'd find myself crying over the thought of them being gone from my life forever.

And yet, here I am, sitting in my room with the lights off, wasting my tears trying to wish away the heartache...or maybe I'm just trying to wish away the love, I don't know.
