All of our aircraft are gone. The administrative personnel have all gone home, leaving Maintenance Control in charge.
And MC's chief says she won't let anyone go home until EVERYONE has some medical paperwork done.
Said paperwork requires the signature of someone from Medical, of whom we have 3.
2 are in Iraq.
The 3rd has already gone home and isn't answering his phone.
Translation: We aren't allowed to go home until the impossible happens. And even if it DOES happen? The EARLIEST she says she's going to even CONSIDER letting us leave is 1900 (7 PM for you non-.mil blokes).
