Keeeeeeeee.....not fun.
Friday: Got a last-minute notification that I was to be at a firefighting class today at 5 AM. Get medical screening done and all that BS.
Last night: Down a sleep-aid at 8 PM to help me sleep enough to wake up at 3:30. Insomnia ensues regardless. Zonk out around 12:30.
3:30 AM: BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! goes the alarm. I get up, feeling sick as a dog due to lack of sleep. Get showered and all that for the class, call duty driver for a ride.
Get informed class is at 7AM. Cursing ensues.
6:30 AM: Get to class,, feeling worse.
Get informed that I need a copy of my medical screening, which in my groggy blitzednes, was left at barracks.
Get booted from class. Vomiting and more cursing ensues.
7:00 AM: Got ride back to work...hit traffic.
7:18 AM: Posted this after finally getting on base. Am gonna have a lotta explaining to do. Too tired/sick/grumpy to care.
