Friend of mine, Joe (who I don't rag on much despite the fact that he's in the Army) on the Gaia Online forums has spent the past few days raising a severe ruckus over the fact that someone he doesn't like has returned to the forums. His reasons for not liking the guy? Claims he's just a complete asshole/moron/all-in-all textbook definition of "troll".
Over the past few days, the guy in question has been intelligent, easy to talk to, and basically fitting none of Joe's descriptions of him.
Then the guy posts a reply to a question Joe asked...nailing the answer on the head perfectly. You'd think Joe might give the guy a little credit and thank him for the answer....no, he tells the guy to shut up and never post in one of his threads ever again.
Guy defends himself, Joe hurls insults, guy retorts in what I find to be a perfectly acceptable manner given the circumstances.
*sighs* He's a cool guy most of the time, but I swear, if Joe tries to claim this as proof of his claims about the guy, I'm personally booting him in the head. ...I think I may do that anyway.
