**THUNK**

Was heading out to do some errands earlier right after getting off the phone with drewtiggy...managed to whack myself in the forehead with the door to the Explorer pretty good. Didn't do much physical damage (barely even bled), but there's a small stretch of there that I can't recall at all, aside from being on my feet beforehand and on my ass afterwards. Lovely.

Don't ask how I pulled that one off, I have NO idea. All I know is that it hurt like hell and still ain't going away.

I just hope the scar goes away soon enough. X.x

Well, that was a surprise.

I know I'm a little behind on figuring this out (I can't help it if the only things I feel like watching on TV anymore are CSI, Law & Order, and the World Series of Poker. ^^;; ), but as you probably know by now, John McCain has announced his running mate to be Sarah Palin, the Governor of Alaska.

I haven't lived here very long, but I know enough about her to feel that, despite all that's been said, she's a solid choice for a VP candidate. It's not people saying she's inexperienced that's been bugging me most of the day, though.

I'm just sick and tired of the way the guys on CNN are putting it. Namely, that she's "a heartbeat away from the Presidency". The way they talk you'd swear they're banking on McCain getting elected and then falling over dead 10 minutes later.

News channel BS like this, BTW, is one of the reasons that the only things I feel like watching on TV anymore are CSI, Law & Order, and the World Series of Poker.

In previous post-related news, the headache I spent a better part of the day nursing has finally decided to quit bugging me so much. Doubt the bruise or scar are gonna go away any time soon, but oh well, as long as I can concentrate on helping finish up the first floor tomorrow, I'm good. (Yay for putting up walls!)
