Dammit, not again...
15 Jul 2009 16:23So, about a week ago I had to go over to Norton Sound for a mental health evaluation as part of the (apparently final! YAY!) screening for the TSA position I applied back in...what, 1996? (no, not that long ago, but it's been a while...)
TSA had explained to me that, since this wasn't a required part of the screening (only being done because I'd fronted with them about my anger management issues), I would be footing the bill on this one.
3 days ago I got the bill from Norton Sound, and happily went over and paid it.
...Today, I got the bill for the mental health evaluation. Naturally, this WTF'd the hell out of me. So I dig out the receipt for the one I'd paid the other day...turns out it was for the physical I'd had a few months ago.
The one that they'd attempted to make me pay for twice already, despite the fact that TSA is supposed to cover the bill. The same one they'd already been forced to give me a refund on, and are now going to have to give me a refund on again.
Personally, I've had it with them. This time I'm going to make it very clear to them that they are not supposed to bill me for this, that TSA is supposed to pay it, and if they send me the bill again, it simply will go unpaid because, quite frankly, I've had it with this bullshit.
Also, I think the next time I have anything even remotely resembling a medical emergency, I'll just take my chances with letting nature run its course.
Fuck these idiots.
