Last night, my dad was bugging me about recording an episode of a series on The Outdoor Channel called "Alaskan: An Unforgettable Experience". I'd never heard of the show before, but I figured what the heck, I could use the diversion.
Apparently, the show was filmed, at least in part, up here in Nome last summer, doing interviews and such with folks out at the Cripple River gold prospecting camp, a place we like to go out to. I figured that was the reason he wanted a tape of it.
Then I noticed one of the folks they were interviewing looked quite familiar...yep, you guessed it. It was him.
Heh.
