Okay, so uhhh...yeah...
23 May 2010 21:16Spent $300-ish on a PS3.
Spent $60 on Final Fantasy XIII for said PS3.
So what do I spend the past 2 weekends of free time playing?
Phantasy Star Online. And not even the "online" part (the fact that all but the Japanese servers have been tanked doesn't help that aspect any), or even something challenging...no, I've spent a vast majority of that time leveling up and evolving a new Mag. Yeah, you read that right...I've basically been using a defunct MMORPG to play Pokemon.
As for FFXIII...hell, I haven't even taken the plastic off the wrapper.
I can't help but think I'm doing something completely wrong here, and yet at the same time, all I can wonder is whether I want to arrange its stats to make the Force (mage) I'm making it for more adept in melee combat, or with ranged weapons, or DAMMIT WHY AM I NOT PLAYING MY NEW GAME YET?? :[
On a more positive note at any rate, the new switchbox I ordered from Amazon arrived today. The old one I had apparently had worse problems than dust on the wires causing the occasional picture flake-out...a disassembly revealed one of the wires on the inside had come completely unsoldered.
Oh well, now I don't have to keep pulling out A/V cables from the TV to switch systems....now if I would just get to it.
...Y'know what, screw it. Problem's getting solved right now. Plastic-shredding Next-Gen-gaming Finger Powers, GO!!
