About 2 weeks ago, I picked up all the things needed to make homemade lasagna: The noodles (natch), some local-brand tomato sauce (quite tasty), some shredded mozzarella, and some cottage cheese.
Took about 3 hours and made one hell of a mess, but oh good heavens it was delicious.
Fast forward to tonight, where I'm having to be back at work in about 30 minutes, so I pull out some instant lasagna from the freezer and heat it up.
One bite in, and I have to say that I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to go back to this stuff. I just flat out doesn't compare.
Think I'll just have a bologna & cheese instead.
