xaq_the_aereon: I caught it...now what? (Submachine)
As I'm sure I've mentioned in the past, for a while about a year or two back I was working on a trading card game that was tentatively called "Blade Clash."

Well, I've picked the project back up recently, getting more done with it in the past 5 days than I have in the past 12 months. Most recently, I finished up the template designs for all the various types of cards that currently exist in the game, including the backs.

I do have to admit, though...
they wound up looking
somewhat girlier
than I might've intended.

(Side note: I know the top and bottom portions of the border seem a bit thick. Originally they were just as thin as the sides, but I added that on to both round out the corners and bring the things up to the same scale as Magic: the Gathering cards, for card-sleeve purposes. Also, yes, there are 3 distinct backs for cards in the game...2 for the 2 different decks each player uses, and 1 for the character cards they use.)

Granted, given the source material that inspired this whole project in the first place (which I'm happy to say I have stepped far enough away from to avoid any lawsuits if/when I go full-steam ahead with this), I can't say this is all that surprising.

That being said, a quick question: Anyone here happen to know a good site for advice on making templates on Magic Set Editor? I'd kinda like to be able to put some demo cards together without having to sit there on GIMP for half an hour for each one...being able to snap them together in a few seconds would be much nicer. XP
