You find Mandarin Chinese to be far more amusing than a language should be. Especially when boredom and insomnia hit like a ton of bricks.
EXAMPLE:
Mal: (to Jayne) How drunk was I last night?
Jayne: I 'unno, I passed out.
Me: 三帆的進風。 (Sān fān de jìn fēng. "Three sheets to the wind." Not 100% accurate, but the most fluid-sounding translation I could manage.)
Only a matter of time before this crosses into my other recent fan-acquisition and I start making Firely-themed MLP vids. XP
