The light novel that I mentioned on Nageki's route, "OreHato," is a parody of an actual light novel titled "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute," whose Japanese title is "Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai," which is commonly shortened in the anime community as "OreImo."
The game I mentioned being referenced by the off-color text is another visual novel, "Umineko no Naku Koro ni" or "When the Seagulls Cry." I must concede, however, to being wrong about the yellow text; on top of not being a reference to Umineko, it also has less significance than I stated in Hatoful; it's simply put around stuff to be emphasized...basically serves the same purpose as underlining something for emphasis (some of the stuff in yellow text, however, is definitely worth taking note of). However, the stuff I said about red text being absolute truth was correct; it's a mechanic from the Umineko games known simply as "the red truth." (The bit about purple text was just me being a smartass.)
That being said, like I said in my last post, I hope you all recover from the shock we got from our session tonight...
Because we've barely scratched the surface on this.On a side note: Why is it that whenever I listen to the final boss music from Anghel's route, I get the song I'm listening to right now stuck in my head?
