Huh.

Just got done with one of my mother's usual texting sessions...she got to talking about Hurricane Sandy, and I brought up the relief I was feeling about how all my friends out in that area seem to be doing okay, particularly everyone who was at FurFright...I didn't mention exactly what kind of convention it was (just that it was a convention), but she thought it was a shame I missed out on all the fun, and that I should go next year.

Given that she already knows you guys are members of the furry community (at the very least, I've felt comfortable telling her a few things about the other members of Team Hatoful...for the record, she thinks you guys are pretty cool, and agrees with the "Murderbeaks = Snape" school of thought), though, I'm kinda surprised she'd be okay with the idea.

Guess I don't know my own family as well as I thought. o_O

(I know for certain that Dad would think it weird as hell, though.)
