I was playing a round of GeoGuesser earlier, and for the most part, I did pretty decently, I think.
The first 3 places it wanted me to guess were all in various parts of Brazil...the 2nd one threw me a curveball by being on the western side, so when I guessed somewhere on the east like the other two I missed by a bit.
The 4th threw me a real curve, though...looked around, looked a few things I saw up online, and came to the conclusion that I was in the Dominican Republic....turns out, as the title probably clued you in, I wasn't. Not by a long shot.
Unfortunately for the game, however, it played right into my hands in the final location. I started me off by a building marked "East Bunnell," and all the signage indicated I was on a university campus of some kind. So I look around to see if I can find a campus marking so I can see which school to look up...
Now I know what you're thinking, and no, it did not turn out to be right on University of Alaska Anchorage's campus.
It was University of Alaska Fairbanks. Got within 100 meters of that, scored big, and netted a final tally of 15,768 points. I believe that means I win a non-functioning toaster from these guys now. :D
