So last night Willexia found herself dealing with the SCP Foundation, famous for securing, containing, and protecting the world from a vast number of inexplicable and ungodly things.
Their reason for bringing her into their fold was a new ability she'd demonstrated with her phoenix-based reincarnating; a containment breach had occurred of a highly dangerous SCP, SCP-076-2, during which time she first appeared to them to engage a recognized world-level threat in open combat. While keeping up with him in sword-to-sword combat for a good 20 minutes, he ultimately struck her down, at which point she rematerialized with new, far more advanced weaponry. At this point 076-2 was handily defeated and forced back to his coffin.
The Foundation apprehended her for questioning, surprised at her compliance. She claimed to be there to help them deal with some of their more dangerous acquisitions, and after a few weeks of interviews and studies, she was deemed a Thaumiel-class SCP, designated SCP-24117 at her request, and given a berth at one of their sites.
During one session of tests at attempting to terminate one of the most dangerous creatures of all, SCP-682, the Foundation determined that the equipment she'd started using was of technology so far advanced that it was bordering on theoretical physical possibilities. She eventually called for the tests to be terminated herself, stating:
"I know that you guys want this thing dead. Believe me, given how much of a danger it is, so do I. But I've finished analyzing what I'd need to kill it, and....well, correct me if I'm wrong, but the idea behind killing it is for your species and your world to survive, right?"
Since then, Willexia has been researching nonlethal methods of dealing with 682, such as:
-Means of eliminating its desire to end all life.
-Means of transporting it to a dimension where life is already dead, thus letting it be happy.
-Temporal stasis or hurling it through time to the heat death of the universe.
Sadly, it was in the middle of this research that I woke up. Apologies to the Foundation, looks like you won't have an answer to the lizard problem yet.
