xaq_the_aereon: I caught it...now what? (Decepticon)

Evolution of paranoia.

Got a first-hand account of how the human psyche has changed over the ages.

Back in medieval times, for example, when a person or small group heard an inexplicable sound, they would often attribute it to restless spirits, monsters, or other forms of the arcane and unworldly.

This morning, an inexplicable sound filled the airport, and I and 7 other people all at the same time asked the exact same question:

"What the hell kind of ring tone is THAT?"

(Turns out it was a toy motorcycle that played some 80's-esque rock ditty when you pressed down on the rider's helmet.)

My ringtone is still the best, both for having a gentle-enough opening...whatever instrument that is riff that it's not too obnoxious to those around me, and because the lyrics once it actually starts are absolutely perfect for an incoming phone call. :D

Heh...that's one area of life where I prefer to be exceptionally boring. When my cell phone failed to come with a "plain old ring-a-ding-a-ding" ringtone, I had to use the music composer program to make one myself.
