...that I love so much?
All of last night I had the Phillip Glass Ensemble's rendition of "Koyaanisqatsi" playing, which is basically just a deep pipe organ playing with an even deeper-voiced ensemble chanting that word...tonight, same thing.
Main reason for this, aside from it being hauntingly beautiful, is that it's a song I heavily associate with what I consider to be the most sinister creation of my subconscious, Hexaet. Imagine a dragon the size of the Earth, with a body built like an intergalactic warship, along with a tail both long enough to wrap around the planet and powerful enough to crush it, all packed with a mind hell-bent on dominating the universe and eradicating all that resists its authority...that's him.
Why induce this nightmarish mentality on purpose? Because the dream sequence I posted about a few months back where my avatar was battling his ridiculously named servant, SlimeBallBot, has been on the forefront of my mind the past few days, and I seek closure on it...while SBB has been defeated in a myriad of different ways (including simply being set on fire despite being a Godzilla-sized monstrosity), none of my dream battles against Hexaet have ever ended well.
And dammit, I'm getting tired of losing to a figment of my imagination.
