Is that inevitable moment where you run into what TV Tropes refers to as the "Fan Dumb."

In this particular case, I've spent a portion of the day catching crap from MLP fans for, when quoting Monty Python's "Spanish Inquisition" skit, using the term "nobody" rather than "nopony."

*facepalm* (To previously-mentioned nitwits: Yes, I said facePALM, not faceHOOF. Fuck off.)

No worse than any other fandom: The volume of complaints (both in the numbers and loudness senses) of any given group is inversely proportionate to its relevance and average intelligence.

Besides, with as many friends in the furry community as I have, I've had plenty of time to get used to it.
