It's a small wonder I've been losing track of time more and more the past few days...you think I'd remember this by now.

Looking out my window at 2 AM here, I can't help but be a little dumbstruck, even after all these years, by the fact that there's still enough light out to navigate by, looking more like 7:30 than early AM. The sun set 2.5 hours ago, but the twilight of dusk is still around...still, this is nothing compared to how things'll be in a few weeks. They don't call this place "Land of the Midnight Sign" without good reason, after all...

Ah, I'd almost forgotten what it was like living next to the Arctic Circle :) Well, in six months' time, it'll be pitch black by four in the afternoon once again. For all I say about this country, at least where I live now the sun goes to bed at a reasonable time.
