I didn't actually point it out as such during the stream/show/whatever it was, but that was more or less my theory from the beginning. Remember in the mysterious new scene, when Nageki started talking about the encyclopedias being out of order, and Anghel showed up and asked about the Dark Grimoire, how I was freaking out even more than usual about his dialogue making a scary amount of sense in hindsight and this whole scene being so shockingly profound now that we know the reveal?
