The last few years, the final night of the Main Event has usually been done within 3-5 hours at the most; I'd never heard of them still being at it longer than that.
This one lasted just shy of twelve, finishing up at about 5 AM my time (6 AM their time, 9 AM Eastern). Jake Balsiger, the 3rd-place finisher, stuck around longer in 3-handed play than the 5 guys of the "November Nine" (colloquial term for the 9 players who make the final table; normally the finals are held in November, but due to the election they bumped it up a bit.) all did combined, staying in for over 200 hands.
