Meanwhile, I finally gave up and asked the SA trans megathread about my sort-of maybe gender issues last night, and am just awaiting response now (hopefully they're not too vicious D:) so yeah, like I said above, I might not exactly have the right perspective for being able to relate to not wanting to embrace something girly.
