The music/sound fx I grabbed weren't in file formats compatible with MMF.
Transitions didn't work the way I wanted them to (trying to recreate the video clip I uploaded, for example, resulted in either a fade-to-black or an instant-switch from the normal title to the Fan Episode title.)
There's about 4 or 5 other problems that I ran into, but those two alone were project-killers.
Don't get me wrong, MMF is a great program...just not for making visual novels. :b
