And now...BRAIN DUMP.

Now that my mind's finally done sizzling from this week's monstrous "Suck factor" that somehow swung into the Hallelujah Chorus, I figured I ought to mention a few things that happened this past while that kinda slipped under the radar.
-I found out for a fact that Metroid: Zero Mission on Hard mode SUCKS. Since when do missile packs only give TWO missiles instead of FIVE? And who's bright idea was it to tack onto the 4x-normal-damage factor the idea to make Energy Tanks only give FIFTY energy units instead of 100!?!
I mean, I NEED that friggin' energy, dammit! ><
-One of the Production Office personnel scared the bejeezus out of me yesterday. We were permitted to wear civilian attire (except for the fact that we HAD to wear steel-toed boots for safety reasons...considering I do that anyway, that was fine.), so I went in with one of my Megatokyo shirts...which, as you might know, are written for the most part in l337sp34k.
The reason this guy scared me was the fact that he
A) is about 43 years old, and
B) NOT ONLY was able to read it, but explained that the reason he could was that he was a "H4xx0r M45T3R".
I mean...HE'S IN HIS FORTIES and claiming to be L337!! That's just **WRONG!!!!** It ain't natural! This is a sign of the freakin' 4P0(4LYP53!
*ahem*
-I also scared the crap out of myself back when I was visiting
anher and
stryck. I hit the mall over there and tried out the DDR pad, finishing my run off with, as always, Max 300. My average on that is a low B.
Here's the results I got:
Perfect: 206
Great: 58
Good: 0
Boo: 0
Missed: 0
OK (Stretched arrows kept foot on for whole stretch): 2
RATING: A
On top of that, I now finally have a somewhat official set of tracks that I more or less ALWAYS do (or at least default to if I'm left to choose the tracks.) NOTE: All tracks done with arrows flowing in reverse (Top to bottom)
Track 1: Sakrua (in the "S" section, by RevenG..Kanji title.) MODE: Light, Boost.
Track 2: Tsugaru. MODE: Standard, 1.5x, Boost, Hidden (disappear halfway.)
Track 3 (if a 4 or 5 track setup): Daikenkai. MODE: Same as Tsugaru.
Track 4 (if a 5 track setup): Groove 2001. MODE: Still the same.
Final track: Max 300. MODE: Light, Boost, and if I'm feeling suicidal, 1.5x.
ALTERNATE TRACKS: If I'm wanting to warm myself up to Heavy Mode, I'll throw in El Ritmo Tropical, set it to 1x, take off Boost, activate Solo, and crank it up to Heavy.
...That's it.
