Actually, adjusting to it hasn't been any kind of a problem. I mean, yeah I can't chew food on that side of my mouth anymore, but that was a simple enough adjustment since I tended to favor the left side for chewing anyway.

The only concern is having to make sure no food gets stuck in this one little divot in my gumline...which has had the odd effect of improving my brushing and mouthwashing habits by about eight septenseptuagintillion percent.

So yeah, as much as it sucked financially, overall I think it's been for the better.
