Videogame Meme:
Italicize the ones you've played, bold the ones you've beaten (or played to such a sufficiently high level that
you could routinely beat the scores of your average joe).
Make a note if you didn't actually play it on its original platform, but instead played it on a MAME emulator
or some "Greatest Hits" package.
1. Spacewar (1962: PDP-1) - Never heard of it. o.o.
2. Pong (1972: Arcade/Console) - Many versions, including the original back in high school.
3. Space Invaders (1978: Arcade) - As much as I suck at it, yes..
4. Adventure (1979: Atari 2600) - GET THAT FREAKIN' DUCK AWAY FROM ME!
5. Battlezone (1980: Arcade) - ??
6. Pitfall! (1982: Atari 2600) - doooooBedoooBeeDOOooOOooOOooOOooOO!
7. Zork (1977-79: DEC PDP-10) - My mom bought it a few years back, but I never installed it..
8. Game & Watch (1984-88) - A few titles. The Zelda one that looked like an 80's DS was my favorite.
9. Star Wars (1983: Arcade) - Not a big fan of SW video games.
10. Pac-Man (1980: Arcade) - AVERAGE SESSION: WakawakawakawakawakawakaWHUMP! BewdewdewdewdewdewdewdewBLIPBLIP! *Game Over in 2 minutes*
11. Donkey Kong (1981: Arcade) - DK Classic for NES.
12. Rogue (1980: VAX/BSD UNIX) - Never heard of it.
13. E.T. (1982: Atari 2600) - YES. YOU READ THAT RIGHT.
14. Dragon's Lair (1983: Arcade) - *so deprived* ;_;
15. King's Quest (1983: PC) - There was more than one?
16. One-on-One (1983: C64) - Never heard of it.
17. Super Mario Bros (1985: Arcade/NES) - ....*cries at never clearing 8-3* ;_;
18. Gauntlet (1985: Arcade) - Nope.
19. M.U.L.E. (1983: C64) - Well, I've HEARD of it.
20. Dragon Warrior (1986: NES) - I would've defeated my LEGITIMATE copy of this instead of a ROM if it could HOLD A FREAKING SAVE FILE!!!!
21. Ultima IV (1985: Apple II/PC) - Nope.
22. The Macintosh (1984) - ....Huh?
23. Tetris (1986: PC/NES/GameBoy) - My mother, one of my aunts, a cousin, and I are puzzle game addicts. What do YOU think?
24. Prince of Persia (1989: PC) - Nope. ;_;
25. FaceBall 2000 (1990: GameBoy) - See 18.
26. Doom (1993: PC) - IDP3WNZ0RZ.
27. John Madden NFL Football (1990: Genesis) - No likey sports games. Except maybe Blades of Steel.
28. Sonic the Hedgehog (1991: Genesis) - OH DEAR GODS YES. Played every Sega/Dreamcast one, and a few GBA ones. Favorite to date? Sonic Spinball.
29. Super Mario Kart (1992: Super NES) - If only I could've gotten the gold on 150cc Special Cup....DAMN YOU RAINBOW ROAD!
30. Populous (1989: Amiga/PC) - Nyet nein negative nutmeg nope.
31. Herzog Zwei (1991: Genesis) - Never heard of this one.
32. Street Fighter II (1991: Arcade) - Not a big fan of most fighting games. This wasn't an exception, as it brought out my first instance of console destruction.
33. Myst (1993: Mac/PC) - ...Meh, no big loss.
34. Mortal Kombat (1992: Arcade/SNES/Genesis) - 2 words, MK: GO DIE.
35. Virtua Fighter (1993: Arcade/32X) - Seen it, at least.
36. Super Mario 64 (1996: Nintendo 64) - Not bad, not bad....
37. Tomb Raider (1996: PS/Saturn/PC/Mac) - Not a big fan of Lara's.
38. Final Fantasy VII (1997: PS/PC) - Can we say "stupid question"?
39. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (1999: PS) - Not Blades of Steel? NOT INTERESTED.
40. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998: N64) - Finally beat the damn thing last year.
41. Metal Gear Solid (1998: PS) - Sniper Wolf vs. Nikita Missiles. Most amusing. :D
42. Half-Life (1998: PC) - Not. Gonna. Touch it. ... EVER.
43. Gran Turismo (1998: PS) - I consider racing a sport. See previous statements.
44. Parappa the Rapper (1997: PS) - ...........no.
45. Ultima Online (1997: PC) - Nope.
46. Pokémon (1998: GameBoy) - I'm with Drew on this one being an awesome idea that was just overly cutesy. Besides, if I couldn't win with an army of Eevee evolutions, I didn't want to win.

48. Jet Grind Radio (2000: Dreamcast) - *cries*
49. Grand Theft Auto III (2001: PS2/Xbox/PC) - That and Vice City are all I'm ever gonna touch.
50. Halo (2001: Xbox/PC/Mac) - I'll deathmatch with you on YOUR X-Box, but this thing and its console will never touch my paycheck.
