Sorry about the lack of entries recently, I was on vacation last week visiting family. Anyway, kicking off the new year with a change of roster.
Apparently, Luxray is one of the most popular Pokemon to go after the Elite Four and the Champion with in this game, and while I am dearly fond of Nala, one of my main goals here was to have an end team that is as unconventional as possible. (This may or may not eventually be the case with Tessa as well, since Empoleon is in the same boat. I didn't choose her for her endgame viability or for liking her; I used a Torterra in the original game and had no interest in a Monferno, so she was a default choice.)
As such, the thunder empress will retire from the endgame team. Fortunately, her replacement has been found already, once again drawing from the depths of the Grand Underground. And frankly, she feels like the best possible choice...especially since she can learn a very powerful Electric-type move to take up Nala's mantle.
[TEAM STATUS]
Dogmeat, Lv 37
Astra, Lv 38
Tessa, Lv 39
Atlas, Lv 36
Belfries, Lv 38
[AND TAKING THE REINS IN NALA'S STEAD]
Nebula (Gardevoir), Lv 40 [MOVESET: Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Heal Puse, Thunderbolt]
Proper gameplay will resume in the coming days. For now? Good night, and happy new year!
[BYE!]
