It would appear Google has given up on its suggestions, when travelling from the US to Europe, of swimming across the Atlantic Ocean.


Either that or I'm not doing it right.

I thought it was Yahoo that did that.

Google Maps, when asked for directions from North America to Europe or western Asia, used to direct you to Long Island Pier, then tell you to swim across the Atlantic to either France or England and continued with street directions from there.

Apparently, that's not the case anymore.

Perhaps the bigwigs thought someone might be stupid enough to actually try it? Or attempted to do so already?
