Here's hoping some celebutard screws up.

I swear, if this man was ever selected to be the US Attorney General, I think a great deal of my faith in America would be restored. :]

It's the small-timers that get put out there. He's been sued over it by former inmates multiple times. Every lawsuit to date has fallen flat due to the fact that it -isn't- what the law deems "cruel and unusual". They have a roof over their head, adequate sleeping area, and enough food to survive.

I personally applaud the way he runs his prison. It saves on costs and makes prison what it ought to be: a place you don't want to be. 3 meals a day, free education, better gyms than most of us pay membership for, and free cable TV...hell, prisons like that are probably better quality of life for some of the guys in there than their life outside is.

With a system like that, you give people the train of thought that they basically get rewarded for breaking the law and getting caught...with that mindset, is it any wonder we have overly-full jails and a ridiculous number of repeat offenders?

That's why I made the remark about wishing this guy was Attorney General.

Hear, hear! I would EASILY and without hesitation second that nomination! The guy has the right mindset. We need more law enforcement types like him in this country. They are nearly extinct.
