xaq_the_aereon: I caught it...now what? (Mic In Trouble)

Umm, [livejournal.com profile] anher? I think I might've been right about what the weird puddle sitting on my bag the other night was. The scent's a bit of a giveaway.

Was able to get it out of the bag easily enough (Arm & Hammer, thou art my eternal friend...), but it would appear that said smell has also managed to....well, let's just say it might be high time for me to look into getting a new phone.

P.S. I forgive you, Percival. But don't expect me to offer you my lap again any time soon. (Not that you ever accept the offer anyway.)

We keep Nature's Miracle/Petastic around, and it's great at getting smells out. However, it is also a liquid, which is problematic for phones.

I apologize on behalf of the cat.

Eh, like I said, I forgave him.

Though I don't need to worry about the smell anymore. I powered it down for a second earlier to try and scrub a bit of the smell out on the inside. That "second" has apparently decided to persist into eternity, because now the stupid thing won't turn on.

Guess I'm getting a new phone tomorrow. Good thing there's a T-Mobile vendor right inside the Exchange.
