Little House on the Prairie, this ain't.

Yesterday my dad and I finished pouring the concrete for the foundation of the new house. From the looks of things, the place is gonna be pretty sweet and sturdier than any other house in this little outshoot of Nome. Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from my dad, what with him being a retired Seabee and all.

Now I just need to spend the next week we have while it cures working all the kinks and soreness out. ^^;;;

The best part about Little House on the Prairie is that instead of being the upstanding icon of Christian goodwill and kindness that he is in the television series Charles Ingall was actually a squatter on Native American land and was eventually evicted by legal edict.

Minor update: Went to stretch earlier this morning, and I swear, every joint in my body decided to do a fairly accurate impression of a bowl of Rice Krispies just after being dowsed in milk.

All my muscles, on the other hand, did a fairly accurate impression of hurting like hell.
