AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!

Finding employment is getting to be a hassle. :[

TSA - Still no word, yay or nay.
Part-time airline ramp job I just applied for - Not qualified (can't lift enough).
All other jobs in the area - Not qualified for various reasons or simply can't do.

Looks like my primary form of work is still gonna be building that house. x_x

Keep bugging them.

If you still don't hear from them, try other avenues. McD's or some other joint like that may be what you need to get some sability until something better comes along.

I know, I mentioned a sacrilegious thought. Sorry.

The only place like that up here is Subway, thankfully...that's the one fast-food place I'd be willing to work.

Unfortunately, not a lot of places like that are hiring up here...the Alaska Labor Exchange website lists pretty much every job opening in the city, which is how I found out there's pretty much nothing up here I'm capable of doing.

The big piss-off, though, is that the reason I got DQ'd for that part-time job was incorrect...apparently I can lift upwards of 75 pounds repeatedly.

*facepalms* And I can't apply for that position again for another 6 months because of that botch.

Sunuvabitch...

I've been saying that for the last seven years. Once you're in fastfood, there is no way out.

People assume that if you're not in high school anymore and working in the food service industry then you must be incompetent and cannot perform any other work.
