Seems someone thought that way here at work anyway...during lunch one of my friends asked me if I had any thoughts about starting a family. After recovering from a near-death experience (thank you for not waiting until I was done drinking my Coke before asking that.. >< ) I fronted with them: I'm fairly certain I lack the maturity or patience to really be thinking about starting a family right now...plus the only lady on the planet I'd want to start one with right now is a little young for that anyway, but that's another story.

Still, it was an interesting question, so...

How 'bout you? What kind of thoughts do you have when you think about starting a family?

Definitely going to. When is the question. Right now, we just got the house, so we're not really in good shape for a kid. I need to work for a little while to build up our savings, stuff like that.

That and we have a few projects to get the house in order, like get newer furniture (like an entertainment center) that's more reliable and allows us to put more things away. We have enough problems keeping stuff away from our -cats-. I can just imagine a toddler in a room full of neat toys. *shudder* At least Mordred just loses dice- he doesn't try to eat them.
