Right! One...Two...FIVE!
2 Jul 2004 12:04...Heh, one of these days I'll get the Holy Hand Grenade skit out of my head...when I feel like it.
Anyway, I'm just making this post because of a little trend I've noticed in the posts of some of my friends: A list of major and minor accomplishments over the past year. Seemed like a cool idea, so I thought I'd give it a go.
MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
-Biggest one I can think of is succeeding in getting myself stationed out here at Andrews AFB, taking the "long distance" out of my long-distance relationship with milady. True, we may not be dating anymore, but that's more due to inconvenience and potential legal/home trouble than anything else. There's nothing lost between us, and one of these days, hopefully, we'll be able to get together again.
-Finally got my own car. For almost 2 years I was dependant on other people to get where I needed to go once I enlisted, and before that I was at the mercy of my family on where I was allowed to go. Now I'm finally free to go where I wish (or at least I was for a while...once I get it running again I'll be free once more. ^^)
-My artwork officially has a fan following! ...Of 1 person, a gal I met at Katsucon cosplaying Tohya Miho from Megatokyo in an outfit based on a sketch I'd done. But honestly, 1 fangirl is enough for me. (...more like TOO MUCH for me. ^^;;;; )
-I've finally found a group of friends whom I can actually stay in contact with..not just online, but PHYSICALLY. I don't know if "major accomplishment" really works here, this seems more like a blessing than anything else.

MINOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
-I'm finally finished with every RPG I own, save 1: Xenosaga Ep 1: Zer Wille dur Macht.
-My sketching skills and the storyline for my manga-in-progress have been coming along rather nicely. ...The day I ever manage to get STARTED on it will be up in the Major accomplishments section. And soon, I hope. ^^
-I think I've finally found the spiritual side of myself again. The fact that I have to say "I think" is what's got it down here. A trip out to Egypt might be in order sometime in the future...
