All this time.......all these months....all this frustration........
And I find that the cause of my car's problems was probably just a pair of crossed spark plug wires.
I was going on a hunch today, swapping spark plug cables around to see if indeed it was simply a messed up order....and while most of the attempts resulted in no change or a change for the worse (one resulted in my engine not starting at ALL...so uhhh, that wasn't it.), when I swapped spark plugs 1 and 4, the two on the front distributor cap, I noticed that things actually sounded somewhat.......better.
However, I have no doubt that the other popular theory, that my O2 sensors are shot, holds some part of the puzzle as well, so tomorrow after my PRT and group therapy session, I'm going to go get some new sensors and see if I can get them swapped out.
Hopefully this will result in me being able to drive for a while more before the snow season hits and leaves me stranded again (since my Camaro absolutely SUCKS in the snow.)
