xaq_the_aereon: I caught it...now what? (Darius)
A few things I've learned this week courtesy of screening people's bags at the airport:

-The Great Mouse Detective, one of my favorite Disney films ever, apparently snuck onto DVD without my knowledge. One more item on the Vegas shopping list for April.
-A former co-worker of mine (name and gender not being given) is more of an otaku than I thought.
-I am developing a phobia of ice chests at work. Opened one a few days back to check, found it had crabs in it. Not a big deal, I figured, wasn't the first time I'd seen seafood being shipping...then one of the things attacked me. Yeah, they were still alive, and feisty. A few days later, I opened another ice-chest...found the person was shipping the meat and fur of a musk ox back to his family for food and clothing. Wasn't an issue...then I got to the one that had the head in it. Had to run to the bathroom because without the skin and eyes and whatnot that thing looked absolutely disgusting.
-A few folks up here seem to be interested in an anime series called "Tears to Tiara"...which is apparently based off of an eroge. Both now have my curiosity piqued.
-Duffel bags are as much of a pain in the ass as they were when I was still in the military.

On a less weird and more happy note, I passed my proficiency test this week, so I am now a fully certified TSO.

Needless to say...Woot.
