Tsukiakari ga utsukushii...

As has become a bit of a tradition in the past week for me, on nights where I don't have to get up early in the morning and, thus, have no need of an alarm clock, I sleep over in the new house.

A few minutes ago, just past midnight, I unplugged my laptop and made the way over here. As soon as I got here, I was greeted by the always-beautiful view out my window, with the moonlight illuminating the world as the sun set, with what I'm guessing is Venus shining as a harbinger of the coming night sky...

And it just occurred to me: this is the first time in months that I've seen a sunset, the moon, or a star in the sky...and that was in Vegas.

I'd almost forgotten how beautiful they are, especially when you get out to an area like here where the ever-glow of city lights are a distant thing and nature's nocturnal beauty can truly be seen.

I think I may just stay up a little bit later than intended tonight.

Oh for the love of...

Stupidest. Commercial. Ever.

Question: You put soap in your right hand by pressing down on the pump. In the process, you get germs on your left hand. What do you do?
A) Panic.
B) Rush to the ER.
C) Waste your money on a device to let you get the soap without putting all that terrifying effort into pushing a 1/256-pound pump down.
D) USE THE SOAP ON YOUR RIGHT HAND TO CLEAN OUR LEFT HAND OFF, YA NITWIT.
