Well, this is embarrassing.

A few months ago I mentioned how, on my Pokemon Y file, a Pancham I'd caught and Newton, a Bunnelby named after David, had laid an egg, apologizing to Whitney for my friend's pseudo-virtual-not-quite-adultery. (And yes, Newton was the father, not the mother.)

Well, apparently I'd forgotten all about that egg since then, because I just spotted it down in the corner of Box 1 a while ago, about as far from its parents as possible. (David, what kind of digital rabbit father are you!?)

So I went to the center of Lumiose City, popped a dime under the analog stick, set the DS down for about 20 minutes, and hopped on my laptop....and now I can finally say the egg is hatched after incubating since...what, 1988?

In any case, congrats David, you're the (namesake of the) father of a Timid, Lv 1 male Pancham with the Iron Fist ability.


(And in case anyone's curious, no, the little one isn't shiny.)


EDIT: Aaaaand I just Wonder Traded him for a Totodile from someone in Japan. WOW I feel like a jerk.
