A favorite character of mine, Wilren. Also the full-sized version of the new icon.
Will Rennar has been my online avatar for a few years now, and often goes by the nickname "Wilren". This character uses that as her whole name...rather appropriate as she is his female counterpart.
In the storylines I've dabbled on involving Wilren, I've had him occasionally take on incarnations different from his normal form. Some, as you can see, are a bit more different than others.
This particular incarnation is involved more in Yu-Gi-Oh! related storylines, particularly one where she's a student at one of the YGO universe's Duel Academies, a perfectly human girl whose deck focuses heavily on my personal favorites, Ritual Monsters. Her ace card is an Effect Monster named, appropriately enough, Ritemaster Wilren, taken from my handle on Gaia Online. Whenever she would summon it, though, rather than appearing on the field in typical hologram fashion, she'd go through a Magical Girl Transformation Sequence to become it.
So anyway...yeah.
A little side-note on her glaive: The flat portion of the guard and the holes along the side, as well as the unseen one at the end, are there because the weapon also serves as an instrument. And yes, it was inspired by the Green Ranger's Dragon Flute, with a little of that flute from Kill Bill as well.
