Adventures in cooking: What th--!?

I went out into town a few minutes ago to pick up the mail and a box of Rice Krispies.

I come home with the mail, 2 boxes of Rice Krispies (due to a 2/$8 deal as opposed to getting 1/$6), a packet of ground beef, a box of Hamburger Helper lasagna, and an inexplicable urge to cook dinner for the family tonight.

Huh!?

I'll admit I was thinking I should've gotten something else at first, but between the flavor and how pleasantly surprised Mom was, I think I did pretty good.

Dad offered a pretty solid explanation behind what possessed me to do all that, too: Boredom.


In other news, cracked one of those boxes of Rice Krispies open this morning and had a bowl. Num num. ^_^
