Willexis Rennar

A traveling scholar, well versed in various sciences and magics, making him quite an adept artificer. His favored subject of study are an enigmatic variety of crystal that can be found all over the world, which he has developed a knack for being able to manipulate and utilize for various means, a feat most notable in the weapons and armor he keeps with him. Between his wanderlust and thirst for knowledge, he has chosen to travel the world and learn all he can of it, funding his travels by offering his services as a "sell-sword", a blade for hire. His swiftness and ferocity in battle, combined with his quick thinking and knowledge on many forms of combat, have made this somewhat lucrative for him; still, he yearns for things far beyond mere riches. The group of adventurers he travels with these days may just provide him with what he seeks...


Bethany Truvae

An elven beauty with a love of exploration, treasure, and physical pleasure. Some are intimidated by her straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to whatever goals she has set herself to; her little traveling troupe, however, have grown accustomed and even somewhat fond of this, especially in combination with the various rewards of being in her "employ." She has proven, however, to be a bit sticky-fingered, and has gotten herself and her companions into rough patches with local law enforcements on more than one occasion...but such is life, right?


Aremis DiMeria

Bethany's oldest and most trusted friend, Aremis is an exceptional fortune teller, whose ability to sense future events has kept the two of them, and of late their two newest traveling companions, out of quite a lot of trouble. When trouble does find them, however, she is hardly one to cower from it; far greater than her clairvoyance is her skill with "arcana magic", para-natural forces drawn from the unique deck of tarot cards she carries with her. From the minor arcana she can invoke the primal elemental forces of nature, either concentrated towards a single foe or spread amongst a larger opposing force. In more dire situations, she can invoke the might of the major arcana, summoning beings and forces of legendary power...but at a price that none but her knows of.


Charla

A young woman whom Willexis rescued when a treasure hunt in an old tomb became an escape from an ancient chaos cult. She was apparently meant to be the sacrifice that would bring the cult's eldritch demon-lord back to the mortal realm, which, needless to say, would not have been good; these goals have, at least temporarily, been thwarted, but not before their ancient rituals had taken their toll on her. As a result, she has no memory of her life from before the living hell she experienced at their hands, and now finds herself wielding the most feared power in the world; chaos magic, one of the primal forces of creation which, when invoked, can literally cause anything to happen, regardless of the user's desires. What the future holds for her, like the power she wields, is unknown.
