You know what happens when you steal someone's phone and try to sneak off with it on a plane going out of town?

Apparently in Alaska, what happens is that the pilot informs you, and the other passengers, that until you cough it up, the flight's not going anywhere, and he's going to have the cops come on board and search the plane for it.

Alaska pilots, it seems, are awesome.

(Side note: Wasn't my phone. For the sake of the momentary victim's dignity, I'm providing no further details.)
