This is mainly for [livejournal.com profile] davidn's benefit.

The next time you mention one of your goofy premonition-style ideas in the video chats, this is what shall happen to you.

Anyway, for the rest of the group: hope you all recover by next week.

Regarding how I chose to guess as to save points, I really am reminded of the first time I played Silent Hill, paused to see where I was and looked at the magazine guide to see that I was now in "the possessed school". This game started out crazy enough, but this is like a whole new layer below what I thought we were playing, and we've now reached... the possessed game.

"we've now reached the possessed game."

Trust me when I say this:

No. No we haven't.

I remember when I kept telling DavidN that we haven't even remotely seen the weird part of the game yet, after we had seen Okosan's normal route. He said he could not possibly comprehend the idea of the game being any weirder than what he had already seen. I even told him I'd make him go back and reply to himself when he's seen what I was thinking of, which I still need to make him do. (This was still when we were still on the "wtf, pigeons, this game is absurd" layer of madness, so the weird part of which I was thinking was Anghel's route.)

I now kind of feel like I suddenly understand what it's like to be on the receiving end of this treatment.

I know, he kept on telling me that when we were still in the (allegedly) normal part of the game. Every time I thought we had reached the limits of madness, it managed to find an entirely new genre of it.
