xaq_the_aereonOrdered room service for dinner tonight, getting a roast beef sandwich with French dip.
Me: "So what kind of sauce is that, exactly?" (I already knew the answer; just felt like playing a joke on him.)
RSG: "It's not really a sauce, it's a French au jus."
Me: "Gesundheit."
RSG cracks up; apparently he'd never actually heard that one before! (How is that even possible?)
In other news; took the folks to see Criss Angel last night. Mom loved it, but dad was less than impressed. Later tonight I'm going out to see David Copperfield by myself; apparently neither of them wanted to tag along. Beyond that, today's been kind of a blase day aside from pulling a fast one on the RSG...for the most part I've just been recovering from the exhaustion and mild dehydration yesterday nailed me with, while the folks were out at a local gold prospector's show (that and Blackjack are the only things dad seems to come to Vegas for) and dinner.
Tomorrow'll be when all the fun stuff happens, with things topped off by treating mom to The Phantom of the Opera. I imagine that'll actually be pretty enjoyable.
In any case, though, Tuesday's gonna suck....spending a whole day at airports always does. :[ For now, though, I've got a sandwich to get back to. Ja na!
