Adventures in Cooking: Chicken Carbonara

Some guys would be ashamed of admitting they have Betty Crocker's website both bookmarked and committed to memory. I'm not.

Found this recipe for Chicken & Pasta Carbonara yesterday. Today, it proved excellent...albeit insufficient for a family of 3; the listed amount will make enough for 2 people, but that's about it.

Still, this one's definitely getting saved for use again. Yum.

All I know of Homestuck is from the fanart a friend of mine draws of it, so all I have to say ot that is, "huh?"

Truth be told I'd never tried it before. It just looked good, and considering all of the things in it were things I liked and imagined to be complimentary to one another, I decided to go for it.

That 2nd bit is the more important part to deciding whether uncharted recipe waters is a good idea, of course...just because the major components are things you like doesn't mean the end result is something you'll like. For example, I like BBQ sauce, and I like ice cream...doesn't mean I'm gonna be trying BBQ'd ice cream any time soon. :b
